Review labels
AI Profit Hub uses the following labels so readers can understand the evidence behind a conclusion:
- Documentation-based review: Analysis of official specifications, pricing, policies, release notes, and supported workflows. This is the default for current reviews.
- Feature analysis: A focused assessment of publicly documented capabilities without a claim of product testing.
- Hands-on review: Direct use of a named version or plan with the date, tasks, environment, and limitations disclosed in the article.
Documentation-based review process
- Define the reader's decision and the product version or plan being discussed.
- Check official product, pricing, privacy, model, and release documentation.
- Separate provider claims from independently verifiable facts.
- Compare products using the same decision criteria and a clearly dated source set.
- State limitations, missing evidence, and information that may change.
Hands-on testing requirements
A review may use the term "hands-on" only when the article records what was tested. That record should include the account tier, version or model, test date, representative tasks, environment, and evaluation rubric. Screenshots or reproducible observations should be included when useful. AI Profit Hub does not apply a fictional minimum testing duration and does not convert provider benchmarks into its own scores.
Evaluation criteria
- Task fit: Whether documented features address the target user's actual work.
- Access and pricing: Current plans, API access, usage limits, and material cost caveats.
- Workflow: Setup requirements, integrations, platform support, and operational friction.
- Privacy and control: Published data handling, retention, training, and administrative controls.
- Limitations: Known constraints, unavailable features, uncertain claims, and reasons to choose an alternative.
Ratings and recommendations
Unsupported star ratings and invented benchmark scores are not part of the current methodology. Recommendations should explain who a product is for, who should avoid it, and what evidence supports that judgment.
Updates and corrections
Pricing and availability are checked against the linked source date. A visible updated date is changed only after a meaningful review. Readers can report errors through the contact page.
